Nor is it ending up in the St John's Ambulance tent after the 2007 race. But sitting here at work with the race on in the background I do miss it more than I can say. Yes it is a tremendous day full of all sorts of emotions culminating in pride and a sense of achievement. If they haven't changed the rules then I should have a guaranteed place next year and I can't wait. (I think my ribbons and t-shirts are worn out; so I need to get new ones!) Although 35,000 run it every year that's still an awful lot of people who don't so it is an exclusive club to belong to and one to be proud of. Good luck to everyone - enjoy the day!
