Mums on a Mission! – Mum and buggy fitness classes

In addition to one-to-one training Jacqueline runs regular outdoor group fitness classes for mums with babies in buggies known as “Mums on a Mission!” Women with babies and toddlers of all ages are able to benefit from the camaraderie of exercising together, making friends and having fun! Classes are suitable for women from the six week post-natal check-up and onwards.

Each class is an hour long; commencing with a gentle warm up and mobilisation followed by

  • Power walking intervals – great for burning off excess “baby fat”
  • Resistance exercises – for toning and strengthening muscles
  • Core conditioning – improving abdominal function and appearance
  • Postural awareness – to correct pregnancy stance and reduce lower back issues
  • Pelvic floor exercises – to prevent stress incontinence
  • Cool down and gentle stretches

Classes run as an eight week course and are held in various park and seafront locations across the Bognor Regis area.
